Eat right, Run..bike..work out..swim..yoga..and die anyway. What’s your health and workout plan

I get some vegetables and fruit for smoothies from the frozen section because then they’re pesticide and preservative free.

Like a bag of peas and carrots.

Or frozen berries.
Yeah certain vegetables and frozen fruit are about all we get from that section. My wife does keep some relatively healthy frozen quick snacks for the kids, especially my 6'4" 18 year old.

90% of the time, my cart has nothing from the frozen section. It really is no wonder we have so many preventable health problems in this country when you start observing what most people eat and drink on a daily basis. The check out line at Weigel's is also quite informative.
I’ve also found you have to be really wary of the juice aisle. I once randomly looked at the ingredients on what Ocean Spray called “diet cranberry juice” and saw it had Red 40 in it. Really? Is this nasty chemical necessary? People are going to buy this thinking it’s healthier because it’s “diet”.
 
Run down, lethargic. Weak. Woke up with a headache almost every day. And on the verge of nausea all the time. Just generally didn’t feel well. I would guess some would say the way they think you feel getting older.
I feel lethargic, but I also have chronic anemia due to the autoimmune disease, so it's hard to say when I'm low energy how much may be that and how much may be something else.

The fact that there is actually a non-refrigerated "juice aisle" tells you all you need to know.

Truly old - 30 grams of protein, breakfast, lunch, and dinner; crucifers, legumes, leafy greens, onions, peppers, celery, carrots, nuts (pecans, walnuts, almonds, cashews, filberts…), wild rice, rice, potatoes, yams, and a little bit of dark chocolate every day. Of course, if you’re beset by diverticulitis, nuts and seeds are out, so, enjoy them while you can. Seeds? Yes, I mix chia seeds in my oatmeal and use sesame seeds in cooking. Your gizzard, your choice.

Any Ruckers in here? I'm trying it out as an addition to my workout rotation. I figure if it is good enough for the best fighting force in the world, it's good enough for me.
 
I’m 56. I was a swimmer in college and actually have my bloodwork from then. (They took swimming very seriously at the university of Tennessee in the 80s.)
My natural level was 1050 so we try to maintain that. I’m on .4 twice a week.
I crashed out at 49. T at 245 and thyroid was way off too.
Felt terrible all the time. I feel great now. I’m told by Dr I see that how I feel is way more important than the specific number on the chart. Everyone is different
I totally agree with you. It’s about how you feel and everyone is different. My 85 year old Dad uses a gel. He is a former ultra marathon runner and still works out five days a week, I personally can’t believe his doc lets him take it at his age but to each his own.
