When Neyland used to have the energy in it that is in Tiger stadium tonight. Man I want that back.

Good team, good hype, good atmosphere.

For example, 2012 UT-UF matchup. It was about as electric as a game in Neyland since Halloween '09.

I know it can be. The craziest I've ever heard it was against Florida and against Oregon. Maybe when we came out in the black jerseys. I'm 22, so I don't remember the 90's or early 2000's. I want that though.

OT win against FL in 1998 is the loudest I have ever heard Neyland stadium.

Man let me tell you bout those times. Those were the days when all the scalper Tix were sold 2 hours before kickoff. You had to wait 20 minutes in line at the trough just to take a leak. My ears rang for hours after the game was over. We burnt couches and mattresses, not in anger, but just for the hell of it. Had john ward to look forward to listening to after the game. Yeah, those were the days my friend. Seem so long ago...

won't be happening again for a good while. the closest neyland has been to rocking like that was the fla game this year. even that was weak compared to 1998 fla. the tennessee terrace along with the new txt if people are yelling to loud system and the kpd hardcores and losing have degraded neyland to a place that barely whispers in the wind.

i could care less about the energy, that will come back, if the wins come back. i remember when the games were as important as the lsu bama game, i just want ut to be relevant again.

Was that game important? It didn't even count last year. ESPN screamed rematch as soon as it was over. I thought it was a scrimmage.
