Will you support the SEC and cheer for the Gators to win the championship against Ohio State or do you hope the Buckeyes will defeat one of our rivals?

Personally, I wont be cheering for Florida but I do want them to win. I get alot of heat up here in Big Ten country that the SEC is over-rated so hopefully the Gators will represent the SEC well.

This question never gets old, as I can never say enough times that I'd never cheer for Florida.

Unless they were playing Notre Dame. Maybe.

Ouch....I guess let the Big Ten is better than our conference begin than, sadly that means our Vols are classified in the later category.

I'd rather live in a world where people think the Big Ten is a superior football conference than I would a world that Florida is crowned National Champions in basketball and football within a 12 month window.

You are correct. I've never understood the notion that I should care what happens to the rest of the SEC. The Civil War is over. I couldn't care less about meaningless geographical bragging rights. I concern myself with Tennessee. Let the other 11 schools worry about their own.

Am torn. Could care less about conference. Living in the middle of Gator central in Orlando I'd say I am leaning towards the Buckeyes.

I pull for all SEC in out of conference games....... EXCEPT.... Bammer.... I will never root for bammer... never... no matter who they play... notre dame, the taliban, ohio state... I hope bammer loses every game they play. Florida is just another SEC team to me...

anyone that honestly thinks the big ten is better than the SEC shows how foolish they are. The Big Ten is a good conference that is extremely top heavy.

That being said, i'm on about the same page as tiddy, except I'd root for Florida over Bama as well as ND. As I've (jokingly) pointed out b4, I'd struggle in a battle between Al-Queda and UF.

Well, this seems like as good a spot as any to wish everyone a Merry Xmas!! LOL.

Root for us. Don't root for us. Makes me no never mind.

And its just a game. This time of year is for celebrating football and our own little traditions, yes, but it is also a time to put things in perspective. And its still just a game.

I'd rather lose 50-0 to OSU than not be able to come on here and chat with my internet buddies, taunting and being taunted. For a fan, its what the game is all about.

So you won't see me complaining that you are all going to root against Florida in the big game!! You can't get my xmas spirit down!!

No doubt in my mind whatsoever that I would be a Vols fan for that day.

You have to understand that I went to UF undergrad from '82 to '86. That was the end of the Pell era and the beginning of the Galen Hall era. To beat an SEC opponent was everything. I mean, 'bama, LSU, whoever.

The Gators had to conquer the SEC to ever be anything on the national stage. And I will forever remember the beatdown we took at the hands of Georgia and Herschel Walker when we did finally reach the No. 1 ranking.

To some degree, yes, that makes me ultracompetitive when it comes to in-SEC games. But it also makes me proud of the SEC as a whole.

So without question I'd be rooting for Tennessee.

I'm sorry, it is impossible for me to cheer, root, or support The Florida Gators. I like the Gators about as much as a African-American that likes The KKK. Yes it's that serious !

Even though I don't see them winning, I will be pulling for the Gators. I have a great friend from Ohio, so if they win, I can be satisfied with that as well.

no problem, maybe I'm just a older gentleman and I dont show hatred as I used to be about Florida or Bama. I'd rather see the SEC win all their bowl games.

Like I said I'm up north in Irish and Big Ten country with people who dont know squat about our conference expect for what they read.
