Tennessee's defense played with what looked like no pride at times, which is very sad to see.

I mean does anyone really think we have a chance to go to Gainesville and win. I mean it's possible but it shouldn't happen. We don't have the COACHING to beat Meyer.

You read the practice reports and then you somehow get through all summer waiting for this, hoping that your team has some glimmer of a shot at something great. I listen to Dave Hooker say they look impressive in practice. I hear him say that the d-line looks good and that Mapu and Bolden look like they have taken that next step. And then suddenly it's all ruined in one 4 hour stretch. Just ruined.

I have defended Fulmer but I'm done. Tennessee is a ship that has been sinking since the 2001 SEC championship game. We aren't an elite team anymore.

I feel your pain bro. All that anticipation and optimism building up over 8 months dashed in 4 hours. Its tough... very hard to swallow. Time will tell if Cal is really that good, or if we are really that bad.

One thing is for sure, our D-line sucks, again. Another truth is that the VOLS have been sliding downhill since 2001. I won't write the season off yet, but I have to admit my optimism if waning quickly.

Hate to admit it, but I have to agree. Florida is going to kick our arse. Tebow will run through us like a run away dump trunk through a barricade of orange cones.

Exactly. I mean freakin' Cal was running us over. RUNNING US OVER. Actually, running around us, above us, over us and underneath.

Tebow will knock our helmets so sideways that Jerod Mayo will be looking through the ear hole. Linebackers look overrated too btw.

Well right... thats kind of my point. The only way we win is if somehow, by the grace of God, they actually play extraordinarily bad. Which is unlikely.

I think our offense should be ok. I'd like to see some better run-blocking.

But man our defense couldn't have looked much worse. Looks like last year's problems carried over.

comin into the game... we were high on our defense and doubted our offense... i never knew things would turn 180 degs... hope our D line just had an off day and will regroup themselves...

As far as scrimmage reports went, I was feeling OK about our offensive line. I had questions about our defensive line, but felt OK about our secondary. I now have questions about our O-line, but feel more confident in our secondary.

yeah sucks. I was looking forward to this game for a while. Kind of like the miami game they played at neyland a few years back. Both had the same result:cray:
