fla should be top 5 each year with thier talent. CUMs system fits fla perfect as it takes advantage of there speed and gets it spread out in the open, but Montes d is meant to stop spread types of teams. I know it will be a closer game (how could it not be?)

The Tampa 2 is nothing more than a 4-3 with disguised coverages. Monte will probably employ a 4-3 and a dime , with no nickle package letting the 4-3 morph to the nickle by dropping the outside backers . Since his 4-3 is so well disguised ...it will give any offense trouble. The Tampa style typically looks the same on each play , with the adjustments coming post snap . That is what gives QB's trouble. The look up and see two deep on every play ...but when they snap the ball those guys can go anywhere and the pre-snap read really screws offenses . Monte will give Florida the underneath and outside runs ...with an emphasis on safeties and backers punishing the playmaker . That is why there is so many turnovers . They give you short gains , check downs and slants ...with an eye on hurting the guy that caught it or ran it .

lets not act like CUM invented the wheel here . Tebow is a running back . The option to the outside is a speed builder used in college to compensate for downlinemens lack of speed. Tebow is a single read QB throwing to very good athletes , not an overly complex passer. NFL teams run up the middle with a running back . NFL teams run stretch plays to the sideline without the option because the back has the speed and the linemen have the speed to block sideline to sideline. It all comes down to the same thing for Monte that it did in the NFL ...stop the running back between the tackles , contain the sidelines , cover the middle field , cover deep . Nothing he has not done with great success at the highest level .

I think one thing that has to be factored is that CUM is going to have one game film to go off of for our first meeting. He is not going to have the option of pouring over game film to crack the monte code.
