After all that has transpired since Saturdays debacle, will we see a different looking TN team vs Tenn Tech or will we see the same ol slow, boring, sluggish, sloppy and undisciplined football team we have become accustomed to seeing for 8 straight weeks??

I know its only lowly Tenn Tech, but will we come out looking sharp and firing on all cylinders? No excuse to not take care of business and whoop this cupcake opponent into oblivion. Butch needs to and BETTER have this team prepared. Another Appy St or Ohio U showing....he wont want to be in Knoxville Sunday.

If we get ahead there is no excuse not to see CFA and QD or JG out getting meaningful reps. Lets lift the hood and see whats rumbling under there

Certainly, a team with players who don't quit maybe?

Burning JG's redshirt would be just about the dumbest thing Butch has done thus far in his career.

It is Tennessee TECH, seriously. In my opinion the practice squad could beat them, if we see a lethargic type effort we better hang it up boys...KY and Vandy might get rough.

Don't sell Tennessee short when it comes to playing like garbage against lesser opponents..

I would like to see DeBoard and Shoop call the game from the field. I don't trust that their communications are secure. :^)

(It is Tennessee TECH, after all!)

I am betting that some very angry young men show up with a chip on their shoulders looking to silence doubters. I predict a solid performance all round for this game and the rest of the season for that matter.

Better for 2 weeks, then return to baseline and lose to Vandy. Hope not- buts thats what I think.

Without burning red shirts, I would hope that Tennessee grabs a lead and many backup Vols see significant playing time.

We should be able to handle the Fighting DaRick Rogers while high on Cocke County Meth.

However, my hopes are not high for a blowout.

Either that, or a team that is going to enjoy being on the field sharing a singular purpose. No chips, just quality reps. No sand in the gears. Go Vols.

In Butch's presser he said teams have been playing mostly cover 1, forcing them to beat them to the edge. I think with Hurd, we weren't able to do that successfully. When we fielded a backfield that could, we put up 700 yards of offense because they had to defend the edge. I sure hope so, at least. Lets finish strong, fellas.

According to Ryan Callahan, yesterday's practice was very positive. Players looked like they were having fun as opposes to being the tired and mentally exhausted team he had seen the past few weeks.

I don't know what all is fact or fiction in Hurd saga but I thinks it's obvious the team is relieved he is gone. We may

Not being a nega-vol, but the truth is we will be a different team this weekend firing on all cyclinders, the week after deborg will lose the playbook and go very vanilla. This staff plays not to lose instead of trying to win from the start.

Hey Boro! Long time bud, how ya been? Can you believe this downward spiral? I knew it was too good to be true to actually be happy as a Vol fan lol Yep, whatever the spread is, take the Crossville team.
