Do we move up in rankings even after a loss?

It's exactly what everyone expected, even Vegas (line was -3.5). I thought we should have won, but we couldn't stop a swing pass and a toss play when it really mattered. So we shouldn't move, but you know most people/AP voters don't watch amd only care about wins/losses

I agree with you. They say they consider the strength of schedule, but imo they go much more on wins and losses, regardless of who you win agianst or who you lose to. We should be in the top 10 imo, but don't believe they will put us there.

In case you didn't know, Polls don't matter this time of year. You're wasting time following them. Just come here on this here message board and find out all the important stuff. No sense in wasting your time on the polls.

But polls do atter, the lower you are ranked the more you have to climb in the polls to be in the playoffs. I realize the plalyoff polls are different, but it usually is very much the same as the other polls with minor differences. Most of these polls go by win loss rather than who they lose to.

Top 5-10 maybe. But yeah, Miami and Penn State I think are good. I think Texas, LSU and Ohio State are overrated.

The thought process is probably something along the lines of, we just took a top 5 team all the way to OT. The stats are close, points were close. The game was eveningly matched. If they are 5, why would we be 15+. I sorta understand but also don't care about the rankings.

Not saying we will, but after watching some other teams I don't see anyone in the SEC that is better than us or UGA... LSU looks overrated, So does South Carolina.
