If we can't run any better than we did last year, there will not be a big difference in QB play no matter who the QB is.

The last two games we ran the ball well (and yes I realize thats all we did). I'm not sure if Fulmer cut out that dreadful side swapping fiasco on the line or what. It seemed to me that Fulmer went back to UT football and started producing results. So that could be evidence that the talent was there the whole time but they were just victims of learning the new offense.

I imagine the competition had something to do with that as well.

Agree partly, We sent out an email to Vandy and KY before the game, and this is what it said. We are fixing to run the ball 9 out of every 10 plays, STOP US!

They didn't.

Yeah it wasn't FL, or Bama, but with a little balance it could be.

The talent is good enough to put up a decent record. It's not good enough to win the SEC, not even close.

Those recruiting rankings don't mean sh*t. Trust your eyes. Jonathan Crompton may have convinced someone he was a "four star" coming out of high school, but he now has three years in college to demonstrate that was wrong. The same goes for several other of those players.

If you want that kind of offense, we should have hired Turner Gill, not Kiffin. I'd say Mr. Gill is an expert on the "run the ball 9 out of 10 plays and we dare you to stop us" style of offense.

I could care less if we ran the Notre Dame Box if it won games for us, personally.

Im a 60/40 run/pass guy. Your better teams seem to be able to run well enough that they run slightly more than pass. In our hay day we were balanced well, but ran it more than we passed it.

Yes, we have talent, but we'll have to show it this year. I think we'll win 8 or 9 games next year.

Nice post, Thanks. However these are the ratings coming out of high school. Remember these guys have been "coached down" for 1-4 years.
