Good question!

Hard to tell, RIGHT NOW I would say Florida, but I think Florida gets better by week 3.

Oregon, because they are next. I think the big problem against quality opponents is that as the season goes along injuries will really hurt our depth situation which is already a nightmare. We may be as good as some teams on the back of the schedule, but it's a matter of getting there without attrition killing us.

I went Oregon, I think they're gonna be a little cocky after their win and top 10 ranking, and then when they have 100,000 rednecks yelling at them and Hughes goes into BEAST MODE their testicles are gonna shrink just enough to give us the advantage. VERY CLOSE GAME ON BOTH I THINK

If the cumulative scores of the 2 games is within 20 points, I'll be surprised.

Oregon is fast...blazing fast...

Florida looks like they were trying to figure out how to snap the ball. Besides Florida's option offense is not as potent without a QB who can run the ball.

Not scared of eaither.. Oregon played New Mexico school for the blind, deaf, and mute... But Florida just opened up EVERYONES eyes in the SEC that they can be beat. Esepcially after what Miami (OH) did.. Just flat out embarassed them.

Like Cam Newton. They would be something scary with Cam in their fold

I'm certainly confident Meyer will have Florida ready for the game with UT. Not as sure about Oregon on the road.

I say we have a shot at both.

Oregon's speed is something else. They will have that phenom back for our game. I'll leave it to Wilcox to have a great scheme for our team. We stick to our assignments, we'll be OK. I contend that Wilcox has more talent to work with than at Boise State. Boise's D thrashed Oregon last year. We can do the same.

Oregon. Why anyone thinks that UF will play that badly in Neyland in two weeks is beyond me.

No Tebow - no 3rd and 4th down runs
No Brandon James - no punt return TD's
I like our chances.

Florida. They're sloppy. We have a young OL and I believe their DL is also young. We got a FINE OL coach and that unit is going to get better every game. Just one thing, I think our RBs need to be pushed to running with more authority when approaching the line. No pitter patter stuff, hit hard and fast. I notice we ran the edges usually and not up the middle very much.

Oregon's speed is incredible, I mean I was shocked! Our defense did well against UTM but I wasn't too impressed with their speed, if that doesn't change the Ducks will blow right through UT's defense. However, the nice thing about our defense was it swarmed. I was so glad to see swarming back. Even happier to see that they tackled instead of letting opponents act like ping pong balls that kept getting away. The defense may be like the Vandy defense back in the 1990's, I think. That group of guys, if they got their hands on you, you went down. No matter who the team lost to. This UT group so far looks very much like that.

Florida will be back as the season wears on but barring injuries in the Duck game, I think we take the lizards this year. It will be a close game but we'll win it. If we do please don't kill me for what I say next. Please, please, please. What I say now is the evil Meyer hater in me. Put an animation character on the Jumbotron of Lane Kiffin singing Rocky Top at game end while another animation of Meyer runs around trying to escape as Kiffin chases him, picks Meyer up and rocks him like a baby while still belting out Rocky Top as the sky goes from day to night then day again and Kiffin ends the song with "ALL NIGHT LONG." Why??? I didn't use to hate Meyer, just had a grudging respect for him as a coach. But watching his classless unnecessary TD against that team yesterday was sickening. No better way to gorge his guts out than this.

Oregon, right now much as I despise admitting it, they look like they have us outclassed at least on the offensive side of the line. And their best running back wasn't even in the game. We will have to play 20 levels above what we did with UTM to beat Oregon. It's not impossible for sure, we're still Tennessee but it's certainly miles away from an easy or automatic win. Speed kills. Hopefully, we bring some speed of our own.

Tennessee 's QB kept throwing over his receivers. I got the feeling he was so interception or mistake shy he actually did this on purpose. Bray threw at his receivers' numbers in stark contrast to Simm. If Matt throws against Oregon the way he did with UTM, I promise you the Ducks will slice our azz off and feed it to us for dessert. That's how I see it and if things don't change drastically by game time, that's how it will be. Until then VOLS FOREVER!

I have to agree with your assessment on Oregon. They look so fast out there. They look like a Florida team with some of their speed. Let's see what happens if our team plays physically with discipline how they will play. If our offense can keep them off the field, we'll have a shot

Simms had a great throw to D Mo for TD. I have faith

1) The One Who Remains Nameless is at USC. PERIOD.
2) Were you watching the same game? Simms overthrew receivers, but Bray did too. He also got an INT because of that fact...
