Seems like Croom is the next in Coach Kiffin's sights. Who knows though? Would that put Drayton out of work?

How good of a recruiter is Croom? That seems to be a large part of Kiffins choice on who he will bring in. I know he is a excellent coach. Seems like he would be a good fit. A few older coaches and some young guys. I am not sure though if Orgeron and him have had any issues. But I think that could be worked out.

Hubbs seems to think it's a pipe dream.

But why else would he be hanging around Knoxville during a coaching search?

I was thinkning about a WR coach and to me if we don't get Gonzo would Kiffin (lane) take over the WR pos? I mean he is a solid WR coach himself

If Croom is not in play, then who would be next???? Billy Gonzalez? Frank Wilson? Cale Gundy? Just trying to figure out who could be in play. There has to be a back up plan. You are only as good as your plan c.

Why is Gonzales considered such a great hire? Is it because his recruiting or his coaching? Looking at who he has recruited to UF. He seems like a good recruiter but not at the same level of Garner or even Lance Thompson or Blake. I know you just can't hire the Garner types everyday but what makes Gonzales so great?
