Does anyone know why May's actually transferred. His lawyer said it wasn't about the finger.
Can't do anything about release as long as the portal is involved. Not exactly what I'd expect or want to hear from his camp. Would have been a fine argument to make with the NCAA for immediate eligibility. Of course, you know Kirby won't sign off on his release to an opponent...in the east...coached by someone he reportedly can't stand.
You can hire a lawyer...as long as he’s not negotiating contracts for you. Same guy Fields used last year.
NCAA rules forbid student-athletes to agree, orally or in writing, to be represented by an agent or organization in the marketing of his or her athletic ability or reputation until after the completion of the last intercollegiate contest, including postseason games. The NCAA prohibition includes an agreement that is not effective until after the last game.

or just against our 85 total player cap? We signed 21 in December so do we still have 4 schollies to give?
All new incoming scholarship players count for the academic year in which they arrive. Doesn't matter their redshirt status, waiver approval, or where they came from. We signed 21 early, Cade is enrolled, he makes it 22. V Jones will make it 23 when he gets here. Miles Jones does not count as he is a walk-on. If he takes a scholarship next year, then he will count at that time. So, currently we have two spots left.
