How do you help these kids understand what they are throwing away? A college education will cost me around 15K a year if my son decides on UT, and thats with him getting the HOPE money for grades.
These kids are getting a free education, the chance to play in one of the top programs in the country, not to mention being coached by the best coaching staff around. And to top it off they have the possibility of going pro and making more money than I could ever dream of making. It just makes me mad as hell to think they would give it all away for a few bucks.

So sad for the families of these kids. I read on here that Nuke was raised by aunts and they wanted him to stay...last week....Don't know about Edwards but he too threw away a golden opportunity....golden in several ways. Jackson seems very immature and easily led into things he should have stayed away from....Why were they on the streets at that hour....I vote for athletic dorms again....

COME ON are you serious....If I told you it was cool to jump off a bridge into on coming traffic on I40 on a gameday would you do it??...NO..... just because coaches play a certian type of music does not mean it will turn players into thugs.... guns dont kill people,Stupid people holding guns do.......Same thing here......Get real!!

Have to remember these are young, highly impressionable kids. A slight attitude adjustment within our staff might be a good start.

a little moronic dont you think. what do you want him to do play elevator music at practice or let them listen to what is already on all and i stress all of there i-pods?

It's more than a little moronic. These are probably the same idiots that blamed Marilyn Manson and video games for Columbine.
