Do The VOLS Want To Go To A Bowl Game ?

We know the fans want them to go but does this team have the interest.

Many Vol fans have been wondering the same thing.

I really believe Dooley would like to take the team to a bowl game, but is too inexperienced to get an SEC team coached up to it.

The team NEEDS the practice period. I'm not sure the team WANTS the practice period. Time will tell.

The few player comments about going to a bowl game have all been positive, including TB, but what else are they going to say when asked?

I hope we Win out and stomp somebody in the Bowl game.

Players should understand that it's another good opportunity to show their skills to the NFL scouts.

VFL...GBO!!!

I think this team is a much more together unit than last year's squad and would like the opportunity to end the season positively.

Hopefully they will have learned from what they did last year at Kentucky and the aftermath.

We will see.

As I recall.....and I may be wrong......Da'Rick was the one mouthing around about not wanting to go to a bowl unless it was up to his standards....

Not sure fans care all that much about trekking to Memphis for the Liberty Bowl. The air has gone out of this program.

..... The air has gone out of this program.

Truer words were never spoken. Last week, when Troy was running the Vol D easier than our Offense does in the pregame, no one in the stands seemed to be that upset about it. I sensed a real, "oh well, that's just the way it is" mood in the 61,000 fans who showed up and the 40,000 who stayed until the end.
