I was traveling yesterday and didn't see anything posted.

Did DKJr. play and how did he look?

When he decides to shoot the gap and make a hit, nobody in college football makes that quicker, nobody.

So glad you said this. Last year at Bama Kirkland chased down Ridley and tackled him behind the line of scrimmage from a dead standstill, while Ridley was taking a speed sweep. That's the moment I realized how talented he really was. Wouldn't take any MLB above DKrj, Foster and Cunningham included, when he is fully healthy.

He made a couple of plays where he was decisive in shooting the gap, as your say, and that is very exciting to think that he is close to full strength again. Injuries aside we have three big-time leaders in Barnett, DKjr, and TKjr at every level of the defense.

Our defense will be nasty next year if healthy and JRM decides to return. Nigel Warrior has all American potential. Gulden and Abernathy will be nasty as well. We need upgrades at the corners though.

He didn't seem gimpy with that high ankle sprain while he was in. They kept him out there with the starters, and he came out with them. Best part is he played well, and the defense looked organized with him back.

DK jr. played okay yesterday.

Do Cam and Kamara get back this weekend?

Callaway is the punt returner now. Save Cam!

Oh God here we go for next year now. Neither KMAC or Shy has completed a full year yet w/o injury. Phillips still a question mark. Barnett is gone. We are very thin at LB and the secondary is equally full of question marks. And then you stir in injuries which this team has had for YEARS now and I see another year like this year.

Not sure if I trust Callaway to be the starter back there yet. No doubt he is a great returner, but PR takes some serious intelligence and mental awareness, knowing when to fair catch and when not to fair catch, knowing what yard line you are on with 11 gunning for you, vision, etc.

He is still just a true sophomore, has not played two full seasons as a starter yet, so he has a tremendous upside yet. It will be great seeing him on the field against UK, between him and Barnett they will have a big impact on limiting their offense to whatever degree it is we do.

It was still Tennessee Tech..............

Before the game some Mensa actually posted "We'll struggle to reach 5-7". My response: Already have 5 wins...and it's Tennessee Tech.

Another posted "If we struggle, and I THINK WE DO, Butch should be immediately FIRED!" My response:  it's Tennessee Tech.

We obliterate a cupcake as we should and the refrain suddenly becomes.... it's Tennessee Tech.

Never change VN...never.

It's still...1982Alum.

The poser that's always negative and has never been a Tennessee fan much less a Alum.

Stay up North and cheer on some Northern team Poser, we don't need you for any reason.
