Any insiders know where he is physically?
Will he play vs WVU?
If not, when is he expected to play?

Why are some acting like it is a issue, sure he has been on the side a few times but as Pruitt has indicated it was just precaution. I have no doubt they are expecting him to play. GBO!!!!!

This is maybe a fake issue since he has been not been seen as much during the 5 seconds they let the reporters watch the practice. Mostly though, I think unlike our past coach, Pruitt knows how to prioritize not getting a recovering player REinjured before the season even starts.

I would imagine he will be ready.

He took a couple preventive days to stay healthy.

From updates it sounded like he would sit out some open periods of practice but then participate once the media left.

Pretty sure I heard on the Mathews show Sunday that he expects him to start against WV.

Two days in a row now, reporters have noted that it looked like Darrin was rejoining his fellow LBs as the press were being ushered out of the practice area. Someone joked earlier about Pruitt telling Darrin to act injured while the reporters are around, just because he doesn't like the press. Maybe there's truth to that, but the target is West Virginia scouts.

I know, that would be weird. Don't see any huge benefit to us for WVa to wonder who the starting ILBs are (and wouldn't they be wondering even if DKJr weren't taking it easy?). But still, stranger one-upmanship things have been done in this old game of football. :)

Knee was fine under load in the S/C workouts. Once put in motion, not so much. Prognostication - uncertain number of minutes on the field.

When Ignot was interviewed yesterday he made it sound like DK was participating when the media was not watching. I think Pruitt has been restin players during the media sessions and playing them when they leave. It may be a really sneaky way of sending mixed signals to the opposition by feigning injuries. Casey Pruitt said that what CJP says is what he means, and he says he’s just been resting certain players as a way to preserve them for the regular season. If this theory is true, I love it...and WGWTFA

Better question is the status of Chance Hall.

Too early in his post rehab plan to say. Expect that he will get minutes, how many is unknown but that has already been decided by CJP et al.

KIM, Hall has had lingering knee injury issues for couple of years now. Things can go south with greater 'chance' than a complete recovery (at this date).

From ever indications I’ve seen he is expected to be a full go. But that’s not inside info at all. Coming off such injuries there’s always hesitation I’m sure.
