This cracks me up. I think about it like this. I equate this situation to someone stabbing someone with a pocket knife. Granted, you probably are not going to kill the person. But, you still stabbed someone just as much as someone who stabs someone with a machete. The fact is that this moron SHOT someone. I don't feel one bit sorry for him.

In the big assumption that the incident did occur, then he should be gone. CLK will look into that. However, for those giving the old excuse that kids make mistakes, or have you ever done anything stupid is ridiculous(I actually have not shot anybody in a couple days or so). If this kid was offered an academic scholarship or was rated a 2* prospect, this would not be even a debate. I think some people are so concerned with winning a football game, they don't care about the methods to obtain it. The trouble is it seems that this kid has been given too many free passes. The buck should stop here. Can I forgive him?....yes. Should I give him the privilege of playing for UT?...no.

It is time we recruited good guys who aren't thugs. Maybe he has a history that we don't need. There are plenty of quality guys out there who would love a chance to play at the Big Orange.

Shooting a kid in the face with a bb gun?! What's next for him... DUI? Smoking dope with a recruit? Fighting? Failing drug tests? Oh wait.....


This kid is just another black eye waiting for the program if he still comes here. Cut ties, we'll be better off for it in the future.
