There are plenty of former players in coaching: Kacy Rogers, JBC, Dale Jones etc etc. I don't get why we owe Tee anything.

I could have got on board with Tee but we don't owe him anything. He is the one that walked away when he was offered to coach here.

I love Tee and wish him the best and hope one day he comes back to his alma mater but you're correct we owe him no more than other VFLs currently coaching

This! Aside from GS (which we shut the F down) no candidate has been a coordinator. Head coaching experience is a must, nothing against Tee

Several close to Tee, includong Jerry Colquitt, UT said was a token interview and Butch low balled him to make it seem like an offer went out. Said Tee knew Butch already had someone (Azzani) in mind. Said he wouldn't have even interviewed if he had known he wasn't a legit candidate.

Can't speak for someone else but I'm guessing it's Tee going 7-20 for 64yds makes for a poor argument in giving him too much credit. I'd argue AL Wilson had 3x more to do with that win than Tee.
