I know many UT fans that are hot right now and not very happy. Again, this has nothing to do with Fulmer, Fulmer's time with this program had outran its time and it was time for a change. A change that I was looking forward to being a GREAT CHANGE, Not a TERRIBLE CHANGE. A great change would have been Mike Leach or Chris Petersen. I mean looka here, Mike Leach's first two years as head coach, he represented a total record of 14-11. Chris Petersen's first two years as head coach, he goes 23-3. Lane Kiffin's only two years as head coach, yes, so what in the NFL Ranks was 5-15. Please don't give me that bullcrap lame ass excuse that he was with the Raiders and they had no talent, Well I hate to burst your bubble but a head coach's job is to work with what he has and turn it something positive, well he didn't accomplish that and look where he got, FIRED.

No this is not Al Davis's fault, don't give me that bullcrap excuse neither, this is Lane Kiffin's fault. I am a 100 percent orange and white tried and true and will always remain that but I guess I will just have to live with Kiffin and his daddy, which also spells out bad equation. I say Kiffin gets nowhere and we are looking in two years, If Kiffin does not turn this team around next year, then I know a lot of UT fans that will be calling for his head and for all you that bashed Fulmer and called for Kiffin, well I hate to tell you this, but this is just going to come back around and bite you right in the ass. And when you select few, you know who I'm talking to start calling for Kiffin's head, I hate to say it but I told you so.

Calm down... Give the guy a chance. He will have time to recruit and pull a staff together before you start crapping all over him..

AS OF RIGHT NOW, Coach Lane Kiffin is UNDEFEATED as a college coach...

breathe people, breathe...

How many times has Kiffin been in the title game this decade? How many times has Fulmer? Conversation Over.

People forget that when Fulmer took over the program, he was considered " young " and had never been a head coach.... He seemed to do pretty well for right around 6 years....

I can't wait to see what this guy can do. I'm really excited. I also can't wait to see all these negative, so called Vol fans cheering him on next year when we are back to winning form. Go ahead and get on the Kiffin wagon, it's gonna be fun. :clapping:

Guys I agree with Fulmermaniac. With this hire we can expect original play calling. The possibility of great recruits being trained properly and getting better year after year. Deep passes and long plays. Fewer than 20 bubble screens and the G-Gun being tossed where it belongs...the dump. That is not Tennessee football that we have known. We should expect no less than 80% 3 and out ratio and ten yard deep cornerbacks on 3rd and 5. Hammy should be fired ASAP.

Steve Spurrier - 12-20 in 2 seasons with the Al Davis-less Redskins

Nick Saban - 15-17 in 2 seasons with the Al Davis-less Dolphins

Butch Davis - 24-34 in 4 seasons with the Al Davis-less Browns

Let's give ol Kif a chance. Being a hater right off the bat won't help anything.
