The saying goes "no news is good news", but I don't think so. I would have thought the Athletic department would have come forward by now with some word about punishment for the "three amigos". They said, "they were still gathering information", but how long does it take to get info on a 10 minute incident! The KPD already has the info they need, now it's time for UT to act. It's looking bad on UT to just keep saying they're accumulating information. BS! Dole out the punishment and lets move on. It's already had an effect on one game, don't let it affect another this Saturday.

I'm not as sure as you that they have all the info... they'll make a statement soon enough and I'm sure we will all be satisfied with the decision and the explanation of the decision.

No. Take your time and get it right. The lives of 3 young men are more important than the impatience of a few fans.

This.

There is more to the story IMO than what we are hearing....All the information you can get is critical

They need to be certain of all facts before deciding on punishment. Penn st had a similar issue a few yrs ago, they kicked the player off and expelled him. Later to find out he was cleared of any wrong doing. He sued Penn st and won . So I think Kiffin and Hamilton want to be sure when the hand down their punishment..

All threads spewing this garbage should be immediately closed. Go look up what is happening at Penn State due to improper dismissal before speaking this mess again.

I agree 100%. But this is the 4th day since this has taken place. There's only so much information you can get here. I would hate to wrongfully accuse a young man and ruin his future. This has taken too long, and what I'm really afraid of is that Hamilton, and Kiffin don't know WHAT to do about it, so they're dragging their feet.

Exactly, they don't want to ruin their future, that's why they are taking their time to get this right. They probably already have a plan in place to do what needs to be done if what has come out is as cut and dry as it sounds. Sometimes things aren't always as they seem though. I have no sources or anything such as that but I would expect something to come out either sometime tomorrow or no later than Tuesday night. JMO

BTW, they did have a football game to be played this weekend....Just saying lol

They have the three idiots to consider.

They have the long-term perception of the program to consider.

They have the effect of their decision on recruiting to consider.

They have the effect of their decision on this year's team to consider.

Keeping the fanbase informed is very, very far below these items on the priority list. Once they've done the first 4 items and come to their best conclusions, they'll do the 5th.

Some quotes from Kiffin:

"They won't play or practice until I get all the information in, because this is too critical," Kiffin said. "No way would we ever, with something like this possibly having happened, no way would we ever let one of those guys ever play for us. We don't let them come to the functions over here, meetings or practice or anything.

"I'm not calling it anything except for telling you that they're not part of any of our activities until we get more information in. There's no way I would ever let them be around our team and be around our functions with what's been said that may have happened."

Did you not hear Kiffin on the radio after game yesterday. He was asked during his locker room interview and he stated ( if its as bad what we think based on info then the punishment will be severe) this is not an actual quote, but the severe part was said.

You will be happy to know that he is strongly considering adding 20,000 troops, an additional 5,000 gunships, and 20 Predator Drones to shore up our defense and take out any additional pockets of resistance. :good!:

The 4th day; which included an away game (travel day, game prep, game, return home, etc.). Wow, what is taking so long?!?

Yeah, you're right on the game prep, but I just HATE to think that this drags into another week of preperations for the Vandy game and has an effect on the team again. One game was bad enough. I just think they need to have this presser and move on.

End of story! The Department AND the coaches are handling this 100% correct.
