I mean he does have a history of benching guys who aren't playing defense to his standard. Doesn't matter how good they are offensively.

Dillione has great offensive potential. I think he’s a potential draft pick after a year or 2. He’s a scorer and he has a pretty shot, but time will tell if he can live up to his expectations. It will help him after redshirting for half a season with us. I’m also very high on Jefferson, and I think his potential is through the roof. Carr who just won the high school national championship is another guy I’m very excited about. He is a pure shooter which is something we desperately need.

Regardless of his potential scoring prowess, he will not even sniff floor unless he plays defense up to Barnes' standards.

I know you never want to waste a year for a player for just a few games but if Dilione is as good as advertised, the final 4 or national championship game could have been a reality with him playing when ZZ went down.
