Met his brother and a girl from his high school last night out at Jax beach getting a Rita. Hoping he can play this year some and help us win Em all! Go Vols!!

Dillon had shoulder surgery and if I'm not mistaken a second minor scope on the same shoulder. In Dillons defense, some shoulder surgery can take a long as 14-18 mos to completely heal, depending on the severity of the injury......this certainly set Bates behind, but he still has a chance work his way back to the rotation....time will tell

It is well documented by the coaches that Bates was limited last season due to minor nagging injuries.

IMHO, if he wants to see the field he needs to learn to play through these nagging injuries, it's part of football.

Just go back and read or watch the press conferences from last season, anytime any of the coaches were asked about Bates they state that he was slowed by minor injuries and that he needed to stay healthly.

My take is simple, Bates needs to man up if he wants to get on the field for the Vols.

He's a Tennessee footVOL player.

He's been hurt and is busting his (_)_) to get better and earn his playing time.

I respect and support ALL our coaches, players and people behind the scenes who work their butts off just so we fans can enjoy every game and as many WINS as we can get every season.

These people work very hard for many hours every single day and they've earned and deserve our thanks and respect.

They wear Tennessee Orange and that's good enough for me.

Only a Loser will bash our players.

WIN by WIN our Vols will earn their respect as they climb the rankings...VFL...GBO!!!

Show me where I've trashed any current player. I don't think you know what hypocritical means. Read the rules and use the report button. If you have any questions or issues then contact the admin.
