He was speaking of Muschamp during the UT-A&M game. He said he needs to take the Tennessee or Clemson job ...and if he wins there he can then get a job like Texas! I guess Tennessee is like coaching the local vo-tech school. What a poltroon.

Sadly enough, Tennessee is not on that high profile level right now, so I really can't fault him for saying that. Hopefully the rise back to national prominence starts soon.

I hope the SEC champ rolls their champion in the NC.

I hope Missouri wins the Big 12 and there are 2 teams that have 1 loss left out of the BCS.

He actually said something more along the lines of he didn't need to take those jobs as he was already the "coach-in-waiting" at Texas.

Screw Texas, we are still a top ten program. Texas would still be Mexico if it wasn't for Tennessee.

I recorded the game on DVR. I listened to the comment a second time to make sure. He said what I originally stated. He is a poltroon.

I was watching 4 downs on ESPN yesterday evening, and he and Merk Mays were on it. He was asked which top team he thought would lose this weekend, and he said "Oklahoma because the Bedlam is always a tough game and Oklahoma state will win this game!". The next question was who he thought was going to the BCS championship game, and he said "Oklahoma and Florida"... He is an idiot! If OU loses, then there is no way they go to the championship game... Moron

i heard someone else talking about this on the sports animal... and if you think about it, texas would benefit from it. if they know mack brown isn't going to step down for lets say 5 years, he could take the clemson job and texas could evaluate him and see how he fairs as a HC and then swoop him back up if he's doing well...or leave him be if he turns out to be a dud.

I hope the SECCG goes into overtime, with the game being a 0-0 tie at the end of regulation, with both teams going 3 & out each series throughout the game, total yards gained being -20 combined...

but I would root for the SEC over the little big 12 in the NC game.
