Did the Titans fumble in the first round of the draft

Some like Mel Kiper are putting down the pick made by Mike Reinfeldt and the Titans. They say the pick should have went to Blane Gabbert instead of Jake Locker. Its amazing considering not a year ago that Kiper was predicting that Locker would have been the #1 pick if he came out early. I wonder if Reinfeldt sees a diamond like he saw in Chris Johnson a couple drafts back? What is your take on this pick and the Titans draft all together?

These "draft gurus" rank players they have no real means to personally evaluate. Then they say the teams did good or bad on the draft based on how closely they matched their made-up evaluations.

The draft "analysis" is fun, but this ranking the picks is absurd. Mel Kiper does not have access to any information that is not public because the teams do not share any real draft strategy info ever, never. And walking around the combine with a cup of Starbucks is no substitute for the REAL evaluations that the teams do in private.
