Did the team give up against Florida?

I think that game will hurt recruiting the big time players. Heck Florida's back up Cameron Newton would start for most teams. Florida is USC east, period!

Ainge on this issue:

"I couldn't imagine that happening," senior quarterback Erik Ainge said. "If it did, whoever said that needs to take a hard look in the mirror. There are a lot of guys who would do anything to go out there and play on the special teams at the University of Tennessee.
"If that's the case, I wouldn't want him playing for me, on my team, period. Obviously no one will ever find out, because no one will admit to saying that."

Who cares, they were down by more than 20 at that point late in the 4th. The game was over. They knew it , Florida knew it, coaches knew it, I damn sure knew it. Everyone quit, including fans, when Tebow completed the 50yd bomb from their own 1yd line already up by 14. That was the backbreaker.

it was over when our coaching staff shut down their intensity on the sideline, they went into "respectable" mode. florida did too, like "gain respect".
