I think it goes without saying.

Barring injury, I doubt Peterman takes another snap at QB for UT.

Is this the slow part of the week where we just make things up.

Let's see:

I think I heard or felt something in a dream or the radio...hard to tell, but somebody said Peterman is starting this weekend against somebody, somewhere.

GO VOLS!

If Worley is truly out for the season, then, for the rest of this year, Peterman will always be one play away from being our QB.

edit: Crazy Ivan said the same thing. Overlooked it. Sorry for repost.

I attended Dormady's game Friday night, and there is no throw that kid can't make. What he is doing is amazing, considering his team and receivers kinda suck.

When my son (also a UT alum) and I entered the stadium, Dormady's mother (a lovely lady) saw our orange and introduced herself. She had watched the Alabama game and said they hoped CBJ was not changing the offense to run the QB a lot. She said he could run, but they didn't want him to. He scored on a QB-keeper around the right end. I think he is faster than Dobbs, and he scrambled well when pressured almost every play -- I would guess they throw about 95% of plays.

With Dormady and Jennings, Peterman might not be greatly missed.

Him transferring would be good for all parties involved. (1) He can go to a lower division, Furman, UT Chatt. etc. and play immediately. Hell, he and Ferguson may be team mates in the future. (2) It free up a slot for a late 5* committment that we will surely get in Dec. or Jan. (3) Jennings and/or Dormady can start preparing to back up Dobbs in Jan. when the "EE's" arrive on campus. All they have to do is hand the ball off to Hurd, Kamara & Reid and throw short passes to Wolfe.

I imagine the staff would take a similar approach to what they did with Dobbs with next years FR. I imagine they both sit and develop (RS) with Dobbs taking the job and Peterman being the mop up guy. The only thing that throws a wrench in that is a Worley type situation where Dobbs goes down. Then its all about who gives you the best chance to win, Peterman or one of the FR.

Good lord. Do people even follow schools where there son will be playing? Our offense is based on a running qb. Goes to show people think the offense was changed when dobbs came in... No it wasn't. He just ran it correctly. That's sad.
