Did someone lose a star on 247?

Until we see how Williams recovers from his knee injury, that's probably a fair drop. A big part of his upside was his speed, and explosion, (ability to get to full speed and also to leap) and a potential severe knee injury can reduce speed by a millisecond but that is the competitive edge.. Prayers for full recovery plus improvement.

Tuttle is an elite talent, I dont know what was perceived that caused him to lose that
5th star.

My guess is that after he committed, he stopped showing out for recruiting services, and started focusing on becoming a Vol (urgent, since he was an EE). This isn't terribly uncommon for highly-ranked recruits. There is absolutely nothing to suggest Tuttle isn't the super-elite player who received his fifth star several months ago.

Five of our players (McKenzie, Tuttle, Williams, Kamara, and Phillips) had a fifth star at some point on one service or another, so I say we have five 5-stars.

Honestly.....it doesn't really matter....I mean really. What matters is what they do or "can do" when they get on campus.

It kinda does. Perception is reality. And if we want to keep the train moving with future recruits, we want to finish aat least top 10 in the rankings. It doesn't mean a guy is a better or worse player, but the media and the kids being recruited do noticed where teams are ranked. So from that stand point it does matter.
