McCullers still needs to lose at least another 25 pounds, probably, get stronger, more fit, and play with more energy. Other than that, he's NFL ready.

Doesn't have the mentality and aggression to play in the NFL. My guess is he's a 3rd or 4th rd pick who washes out after a couple to 3 years.

He's a 3rd or 4th round pick who plays 2 gap DT for some 3-4 team. He'll never show on the stat sheet but he'll keep offensive lineman off the linebackers.

Idk...he's a bear of a man but I swear I've seen him get tossed around 1 on 1 more than a few times @ UT. He DOES get double teamed often and that obviously helps out whatever defense he's on, but at his size there really shouldn't be anyone that just dogs him 1 on 1.

Don't care how strong, fit, and if he loses 25 lbs, guy just doesn't have the heart and motor. He will get drafted and then be out of the league in less than 4 years.

looked unmotivated as usual. Would mostly just stand up and push a little against the O line and jog in place. Nothing new.

I am an old fart who has seen many players who never seemed to never reach their potential while a Vol, suddenly turn it on and have a nice long career when they start getting that nice NFL paycheck and they don't want it to end. The extra motivation seems to spark extra effort. Funny thing is that a lot of them don't realize that to ensure they get a chance in the league, they need to stand out in college. Some get a chance simply because of their physical size and strength. Probably the situation with Dan. He maybe a big ole Teddy Bear off the field and hasn't learned to really turn it on while on the field, but someone will give him a chance and he may have a nice long career. I hope so anyway

Disappointment. I always wondered why Saban let this guy get out from under his nose.. We all know why now..

Someone on the radio yesterday said a teammate of Dans told them he thought Dans real money would be made if he shifted to the O line. I don't disagree.

Oh well, I was hoping that he decided to turn it on finally. Big sparks...no fire....next?
