Did Kongbo get in the game yesterday?

He got some PT. Not sure how much or how much of an impact, but he was in there.

He did nothing. Others guys stepped up on the D line and won this game for us. It was huge that they came alive and played like they're capable of being the best in the nation. It was a good adjustment by the coaches and players. McDowell played big, as did jumper. TKjr and RG played huge in the absence of CS like leaders.

Kongbo is too light for DT. We are really deep at DE, so think he is having a hard time getting many snaps. But, he will get his chance at some point. Injuries happen.

Somewhat the same story with Kyle Phillips.

Kongbo and Kahlil where on participation no tackles Kyle Phillips one solo and Dimarya Mixon 1 solo

One thing I've noticed (as have others here) about Kongbo:

He's a beast. Great speed and strength, hard to block, great effort, etc. HOWEVER, he is consistently our slowest DL in terms of firing off the LOS at the snap. It seems like he's trying really hard not to jump off sides at times.

I think this might be why he didn't see as much time against UF. Our coaches wanted to play DEs who would give UF's slow footed OTs all they could handle.

If Kongbo can just get that straightened out, he'll see more PT and will be wrecking backfields.
