This may have already been discussed, but I was excited to see how all the weight loss changed his game. I never heard a word about him, or the rest of our d lineman really. Is anybody starting to become worried about him?

He played. Made one tackle (or at least I only remember hearing his name called once by the PA announcer)

Was ran out of bounds and called out the fans on Twitter. Needs to play better and talk less. Very unimpressed with this him so far.

It makes me nervous. I think we'll be able to get good pressure on qbs, but our run defense looked awful.

Agree. Only, we didn't get near App State's QB either. Lamb threw 23 passes....we certainly had no sacks. I'm not sure we ever even hurried him or knocked him down.

Need Shy and Alexis to get ready...

McKenzie is learning you cant just simply overpower college OLinemen. Needs to play lower and use hands better..

They got rid of the ball immediately when they did pass. The no sacks stat for that game is misleading because they never really took any time back there

Barnett came at him a couple times. He was getting it out quick though.

Vereen played very well. Did Kongbo play?

I recorded the game and decided to watch with rewind button at my disposal last night.

Vereen did play well. He and Sutton were D MVP's.

Kongbo played decent. High motor and showed his burst on that slip pass to the RB. He nearly beat Barnett to QB (Kongbo on LT and Barnett barely chipped from RB that caught pass). Kongbo will perform this year.

Danny O may be the most under appreciated player UT has. He played much better than any of the other DT's.

Lewis struggled mightily. The one play he made was caused by Danny O.

McKenzie didn't show up much. Disappointed there.
