Did Auburn seem weird to you after the game

For just winning it all and seeing the emotion they showed early in the year they seemed very subdued for winning a bcs title. Could it be they know it will get yanked down the road. I mean the most electric personality in cfb Cam was very matter of fact about it. He seemed happier beating Clemson. And Chizik was very stoic. So either he has the weirdest personality or they just know that it's going to be a lost season. Didn't know if anybody else noticed it.

Chizik didn't seem nearly as lifeless as Saban did last year.

If I was a coach and I won a national title, I'd be celebrating more like Gruden was after those final int-touchdowns in the Super Bowl.

Their fans seemed more excited when the pregame intro video came on than when Byrum hit the game winner.

Maybe Cam added a clause in his contract that will force Aubarn to pay him a $1,000,000 bonus for winning a NC. AU needs that money to buy another QB next year.

Maybe the "Oh crap, we're going to finish 4th in the SEC West next year and get hit with sanctions" feeling kicked in.

It kind of looked like Cam was pouting afterward. I guess because he didn't win the MVP. Idk but you would expect more emotion out of him.

Chizik was full blown laughable with his God invoking War Eagle silliness.

Ten hours after winning the national title, Auburn coach Gene Chizik was typically intense and businesslike, already saying the time to celebrate was over.

"It's expired," he said Tuesday morning, adding that they "have to start all over starting today."

OK, the Tigers might not have to start from scratch after a 14-0 season that culminated with the program's second national title, first since 1957.

What an idiot

Whatever if I'm a player I'm celebrating my *** off. Spring practice is not yet. Cam is gone.

I think its because they played such a bad game. They could have lost the game. But instead they won mainly because Oregon's offensive gambles didn't pay off.

I wish players and coaches would quit saying things that make it seem like God favors one team over another. I don't think there is anything wrong in being thankful for being kept safe, but to act like God cares about which team wins is rediculous. I love God, but like Jesus said "He causes the rain to fall on the just and the unjust".

How unfair is that to the kids? They have worked their whole lives for this moment. And you tell them they get less than 24 hours to celebrate? Please.
