Did Anyone Think Urban Meyer was as big a whiny baby as he has now shown?

I for one did not.
The guy must whine more than my 3 year old boy. How in the world the first-year, youngest coach in the NCAA make him cry is fascinating.
I wonder if dude wears diapers.

Absolutely. I live in FL, and I'm 45 minutes from Gainesville. All I hear about is the crap Urban Meyer gets when he doesn't get his way. Apparently he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth in the SEC, I mean heck, the news interviewed him for a week after CLK was hired concerning the comment that was made about beating UF next year. I actually watch gator "football" games (I'm a believer in keep your friends close but your enemies closer) and every time something isn't going his way, he whines. It's a staple of football in Florida

Haven't you seen him crying at news conferences after a loss? He's been a cry baby for years.

What is it in the water in Gainesville that makes obnoxious whinin tools, and further more whats in the water that makes the media push every decibel of it like it's gold?

Seriously, if Fulmer, in February, 1999, cried about some young inexperienced coach calling him a cheater then I would be more upset with Fulmer than with the other coach.

Hell, I'd think its sissy if Kiffin cried about Spurrier

Has Meyer made a public statement since this happened? Or has daddy Foley been the only one to speak.

It's awesome to see how easy it is for Kiffin to make Urban cry. What a baby!

As much as I can't wait to see us beat UF (after Tebow leaves), I can't wait to see Urban crying after the game about the ref's call, the weather, the sun in his eyes, the clock, and all that other cry baby stuff.

Of course, he'll run off to ND before we get time to put him in his rightful place with the annual spankings he deserves.

Sure did!

Did you guys see how he acted toward Nutt after Ole Miss beat em this past season? I couldn't believe he acted that way after the game....No Class at all from Cryer.

If I were in Urban's shoes, I would have laughed it off or made a comment that CLK needs to read a rule book. Regardless, he still looked like a douche by continuously calling Nu'Keese on his visit to Knoxville.

You're making yourself look silly. Signing up for a UT board and posting all this nonsense on a Saturday night when surely you could just be sitting back in your jorts and enjoying reruns of years past.

Which of your recruits that we took from you will you miss most? Did you like the way they dropped the UF caps before they put the Power T's on? I thought that was a nice touch.

Take a chill pill. Normality returns when the Vols start beating the Gators back into the pre-Spurrier hole you crawled out of.

That's what I don't get. Why didn't Florida just dismiss the whole situation and laugh it off rather than having Jeremy Foley issue a snippy statement?

He's either worried or stupid.

They're really not a traditional elite program, so they don't know how to act like one.

This just shows they know it, and they have just a bit of insecurity about their status atop college football and how long that might last.

Do you need my help in coming up with a somewhat humorous derogatory name for Lane Kiffin? I've got to tell you . . . "Kitten" just isn't cutting it.

Well... I'll say this. I'm not worried enough to register on a UF board tonight to see what they're talking about over there. Really, I could care less. How about you?

How did Pete Carroll and USC respond to Jim Harbaugh a few years ago when he took over at Stanford and took a shot at Carroll?

Oh, that's right; they didn't. Because that's what you do when you're on top. The protestations of Kshusha and 5150 notwithstanding, Tennessee got a fair amount of positive publicity out of all this (cf. PTI, Jim Rome), and you can thank Jeremy Foley for that.
