Is back Sunday! Can't wait to see what direction they take Deb finding out about Dexter. And to see what's up with the new lab guy, that bought the hand that's obsessed with Dexter. Sorry his name escapes me.

Dexter was phenomenal for about 4 seasons, but the last two have put a damper on the the series IMO. It's nowhere near the show it once was. Regardless, I'll still probably tune in on Sunday.

I think it went downhill after they killed off Doaks. He was a great character.

It lost me for a couple season, I actually enjoyed last year though. Minus the deb loves Dexter part

Let's just say I strongly disagree.

I thought last year was awful. Colin Hanks was a terrible choice for the bad guy, and the plot "twist" was about as predictable as it gets. I thought it was by far the worst season.

I had grown tired of Dexter the family man. I liked the different ways Hanks set up the deaths. And actually thought he did an alright job. It has fallen a lot since the first 4 seasons though. But most shows do.

I'm excited for tonight.

I know it sounds awful but I kind of wish they had killed Rita off when she was pregnant so Dexter doesn't have to take care of Harrison. At least they shipped off Assturd and Cody but he still has to look after the Cereal Spiller.

Born in a pool of blood like Dexter and Biney. It would make him what, the 10th serial killer in Miami? By the time he grows up, the 100th? Dexter, Biney, Trinity, Colin Hanks, the guys that raped Julia Stiles and dumped barrels of bodies. That kid in the woods was on his way to being one I think but I don't even remember what happened to him. I know Dexter had let him go originally. Miguel Prado was turning into a serial killer too and I'm sure there were more. I would be scared to live in Miami if there were that many serial killers.

They might have to go away from having him chase yet another serial killer and go back to offing people who have only killed once or raped women while avoiding getting caught. Something other than chasing a serial killer for an entire season.

Lol I never thought of that, it's like all the bad guys hanging out in Gotham I guess. A change from the serial killer chasing would be nice. My guess is the lab assistant is that guy this year.

Funny that your name is Bad Jerry. Trinity Killer plays Barney's dad on How I Met Your Mother and his name is Jerry. He says "If you want bad Jerry, you got him!" after Barney tells him he wants bad Jerry because good Jerry sucks. He proceeds to do a bunch of shots and they tear up the town together.

That's funny cause my friends always say I'm too nice, but when I'm drunk BadJerry comes out. Maybe that's where they got it from.

Same here, the last 2 seasons have been awful.

Decent start to the season, the previews look promising. Dexter should kill Deb immediately.

Agreed, last season was disjointed. They obviously had the idea for this season a while back, but decided to stretch the preamble to the current season into an entire season last year. They had a lot of content to produce to fill the gaps and I think the show lost a bit of it's momentum last year as a result.

This season seems like it will be much better than the last. The ending of lasts nights episode was a game changer. Dex killing Deb would take some balls, but would be huge for shock value. I don't think it happens though.

i haven't watched since season 4, but this season may win all. i kinda figured he would talk his way out of it the first time, and it would be forgotten until a later season. glad to see they didn't let the storyline die easily.
