Beating Vandy and Kentucky is a MUST.

Why? I really don't know why. But, I haven't felt real passionate about UT football since the Bama game. For some reason it's back for the last 2 games.

We are still Tennessee, and losing to the 2 teams is simply unacceptable. Yeah, Wyoming was too ,but humor me

Yeah, you know what, we have hit rock bottom here. There has to be a "let it all out" mentality with the team for these last two games. Play loose. Play open. Don't think or worry. No pressure at all. Play crazy...psycho even. As soon as Vandy scores a TD, run up and deck the guy. Fulmer should let the dogs loose. Seriously, what could possibly happen to ruin the season at this point.

Maybe it will actually be a fun game to watch.

I saw on another thread that if we don't win(2) Ohio St.
Would be the only team in div.1 football to never have an 8 loss season. That Michigan was already at 8.

I don't care for Ohio ST.

I really don't like Vandy or Kentucky.

GO VOLS:crossfingers:

Agreed. It already pains me to see our team in the shape it is in but losing to the CommodeDoors and KenSUCKY would only hurt even more. With this team's attitude and lack luster performances, victory seems impossible, yet anything can happen. One can only pray.

How fun would it be to win against KY (again) and Vandy (again) in the same year we lost 13-7 against Wyoming?

I'd hate to end that series streak with Kentucky.

Same here, I honestly do not want to listen to UK fans for an entire year :eek:hmy: It's bad enough We deal with them in basketball...Losing to Kentucky in football is a miserable experience that I do not want to relive for a long long time...Sadly it appears it might happen this year...But We can always hope :good!:

As lame as this sounds, it would be nice if Phil went out beating the ever living crap out of those 2. This is Kentucky's only hope and after that it will probably be another 25 years. I think they will. UT is to never lose to Vandy and UK and the players are pissed. Fulmer is like 31-1 against them, if the players can't win them for their coach then they need to quit playing.

Could we apply that mostly to the offense?

The D hasn't played well enough to win a lot more games this year, if we only had the normal UT offensive production.

Majors got a good send out on his last game, I hope Phil and most importantly the VOLS go out on a better note!

I just hope the players actually try this week. Watching the Wyoming game made me sick. I can't handle watching us lose to Vandy and Kentucky.

I guess if we play like we have all season, I will just change the channel.
