sorry. My first post and I can't start a new thread. Below is a quote from the ajc from Nikell Robey's athletics director about Monte's recruiting

“He’s not answering phone calls or returning messages right now,” Loveless said. “He had a visit from West Virginia this morning to follow up on his visit up there. Skip Holtz [the new South Florida coach] was here last week and is trying to get him to come down there. He’s planning to visit Southern Cal next week. Monte Kiffin has been very persistent. He’s probably been in here more than is legal. Of course they don’t pay attention to the rules.”

Would it be out of bounds for dooley to hire a DL coach without consulting his DC. He has no DC and there is the problem.

Any DC worth his salt will want input on his DLine coach wouldn't he. Smith may come and if he does, then I think the DC job has already been filled by someone. Just waiting for a possible announcment time.. JMO>>>

Two things here:

First there is no way they'd let Smith go unless he has decided to go somewhere else. fact.

Second, we are picking up 4 star defensive recruits without an actual coach which amkes me believe the recruits already know who has been hired and on name alone are ready to jump. Chuck Smoth would be that kind of guy.

This...Everyone is a huge CHUCK SMOTH fan LMAO:eek:lol::rofl:

IMO, the DC may already have the job and we are waiting on that announcement..
