I don't hate Bama probably nearly as much as UT fans. I think Henry has a good case for it, but I thought christian mccaffrey had such a huge impact overall. He put up insane numbers running/catching, and even returned/threw touchdowns.

If he scored more touchdowns or Stanford won more football games then he would have won the trophy

Those are the top 2 stats for determining the Heisman and it's been that way for years now

I mean I would hope Henry put up good numbers he started getting 40 plus carries a game.....imagine if other RB's in the country got 40 plus carries!!! Henry doesn't impress me at all...has no vision as a RB it's like watching Richardson again

First downs lead to more plays. More plays lead to more opportunities to get carries.

It was a symbiotic thing.

Being on the best team, with one of the best OLs, and an average QB, he was going to get a ton of carries. I give Henry a lot of credit. I don't think he's a bust like some do. I just think that what McCaffery did at Stanford was so much more impressive all things considered.

We will see in the NFL how he will do without a stout offensive line and he has to SEE holes and cut backs....He doesn't see them now I find it hard to believe he will see them in the NFL

This is 100% true. I thought McCaffrey was better, but that's just me.

Mark Ingram should personally hand deliver his Heisman trophy to Ndamukong Suh.

Henry never trucked anyone like Hurd and fouronette. He did the occasional stiff arm and had good speed The reason his numbers were so good is because he ran through 10 foot wide holes. Hurd would have been ridiculous behind bamas line. Mcaffrey is also an overall better back than Henry.

Lol... His vision sucks so bad that he ran for 2,000 yards.

I don't think I've ever seen a guy get less credit for being an absolute beast in the most physically demaning conference in America.

Boring pick.

Henry had the most attempts of anyone in the nation @339 with 1,986 yards (23 TDs) with an average of 5.9 yards and 10 catchers for 97 yards (0 TDs).

McCaffrey was much more electric and just as productive as Henry. He had the 2nd most attempts in the nation @319 with 1,847 (8 TD) yards with an average of 5.8 yards. McCaffrey also had 41 catchers for 540 yards (4 TD), 14 PR for 67 yards, 36 KR for 1042 yards (1 TD), 2/3 passes for 40 yards (2 TDs).

McCaffrey with nearly 3500 all purpose yards in the season. To me that shows he was the best player in CFB. And really it shouldn't have even been close.

He's not the best back ever but he's a legitimate great back.

What's funny is that everyone think it's always the offensive line, the scheme, blah blah blah yet Ingram, Lacy, and Yeldon are all legitimate NFL starting running backs.

He will fit in just like the rest of the backs from Alabama and be fair to midland as every back has been from Alabama when they get to the nfl

Suh - like PM is probably just happy with an NFL career and a big contract --- Ingram will be another journeyman RB if he ever even plays again

What's funny is everyone *****es about the Heisman, but I say this is the first time since 2009 they haven't gotten right. Maybe 2011 you could make the case Luck over RG3.
