Derek Dooley has a busy schedule on ESPN on Monday, July 23rd.

He will have the opportunity to get in front of high school players, their parents, their coaches, fans, and critics. This is a great opportunity to improve the perception of the UT football program.

He had better be guarded in what he says about the Penn State situation and especially Joe Paterno. He does not wan to sound like Gary Pinkel.

Derek Dooley - Tennessee
11 a.m. - Scott Van Pelt Radio Show
11:25 p.m. - ESPN.com chat
12 p.m. - @ESPNCFB Questions
12:45 p.m. - Playbook
1:45 p.m. - SportsCenter (tape)
2:00 p.m. - Twitter chat
2:20 p.m. - College Football Live
2:40 p.m. - Recruiting Nation
3:05 p.m. - ESPNU

The sad thing is, he will more than likely be asked that when it has absolutely nothing to do with Tennessee or the SEC.

EDIT: ESPN loves Joe Paterno

This is a great opportunity for recruits to see Derek Dooley and allow him to sell the YT football program not just for this year, but into the future.

Being guarded? That is where that law degree comes in handy.

Dooley will be fine I think. I'm hoping he can catch a few breaks this year. He's had some of the most BS calls and injuries go against him.

This. Plus, if for nothing else, I can't emotionally handle another coaching change. All I want for Christmas is to have to wait another week plus for a BCS Bowl.

:)
