Does anyone know derek dooley's fan mail address or anything? I know he is a busy man and the chance of my letter being actually read by him would be slim to none. However I would really like to voice my support for him and the UT football program.

I would just send it to the university. I doubt they get much and will easily be able to deliver it where it truly needs to go.

I thought the post office only delievers credit cards, bills, and stupid ads. If you sent a letter they may not know what to do with it.

madbamahater is mostly mad and hateful.

If you click on his name at the top of one of his posts, it will take you to a screen about his member info. You can click on ignore, then confirm it.

You will enjoy VolNation much more without his posts :)

You are such a good coach, best in the SEC. I don't know why Tennessee fans expect more then a 11-14 record.

Dear Dooley,

Thank you for stepping into this horrible mess this program is in when nobody else would. Thank you for putting your HC career at risk by taking on a situation that anyone with common sense knows will be tough to be successful in given the circumstances. Also, thank you for putting up with the fans and always talking about how special the fanbase of UT is even though 50% of them seem to be utterly pissed at you for not being able to wave a magic wand and have this mess cleaned up in 2 seasons. And finally, thank you for the fantastic recruiting job you're doing.

:lolabove: Awwwe poor Dooley. Yes Derek, thanks for taking the opportunity of a lifetime to coach at a major SEC school. Thanks for accepting the incredible buy-out we included in your contract (we know how difficult that can be). Thank you for trying soooooo hard. Even though your program showed no improvement from year 1 to year 2, and in fact regressed in many areas, we still appreciate all your effort :thumbsup:. You really are a trooper.

You're right. It was the opportunity of a lifetime. That's why every major coach in HS, College, and Pro football was jumping at the opportunity
