Sorry, I forgot what the OP actually said since it’s been a few days.

I’m not going to get bent out of shape one way or the other over a position coach. It’s odd to me how Nick Saban always won despite his assistants, as if he were training them to be great rather than hiring great coaches. Yet, we have people sweating over whether a position coach takes a promotion elsewhere.

Johnny Majors had an impressive coaching tree.. That’s probably the last one TN has had.

He did and he hired one or two new assistants almost every year. We, at the Big Orange Club in Atlanta never knew which new coach would show up on Thursday nights during football season. Pat Summit would always come down herself and she drew the largest crowds when she came. When Majors came preseason, before his first year, we had about 1,000 fans show up. Fortunately, Tennessee handle the arrangements for that meeting and anticipated a large crowd.

This guy has been De'Railing RB recruiting for 2+ years.... Hope he is packing his bags
