I'll never understand why Foster is returning kickoffs.

1) He doesn't have breakaway speed
2) He's our starting runningback
3) He doesn't have breakaway speed
4) We have so many guys who have that extra gear and can be game changers....O'Neal, Berry, Vinson,
5) He doesn't have breakaway speed

I like Foster, don't get me wrong...I think he'll be a good "Troy Fleming" like runningback in the NFL...but I think having him return kickoffs is nuts.

I couldnt agree with you more! He is borderline slow... i bet foster runs no better than a 4.6... i think he can be a decent running back... but theres not doubt theres a huge gap between him and guys like coker and hardesty

I think O'Neal ran a 4.31 at FSU and Vinson is around 4.33.

OK...then none below a 4.3 :) I would have accepted 4.3-4.4 speed..but not 4.2 to 4.3. However, I didn't know we had clocked sub 4.35. It doesn't really mean much because those probably weren't electronic and that's darn fast regardless.....

If Berry does start, then you have the situation like last year where an all american WR goes against a freshman DB. The only difference is this year the teams are swithced. Irony, pure irony.

Nice signature, sir!

Not really bigdaddy. Syd'Quan wasn't exactly a burner or physical. Berry is much faster and he doesn't care to hit you in the mouth, either. Jackson isn't going to shake Berry anyways. He is more of a finesse/speed WR than Meachem which won't work to his favor against a DB like Eric. Either way, it isn't guaranteed that Jackson will be on EB even if he starts.
