Turk moves inside. Hopefully Fisher will be able to help up front. I am deeply concerned about our D-line. As far as D-back goes, who knows. I think we will switch up alot. We will pretty much have 3 safeties and one corner. I have also read that our lack of depth will prevent us from playing our mustang package.

Oh god... Three safeties? If we play any sort of pass defense that even resembles prevent, I am scared.

CHAVIS: They don't have Chad Jackson anymore! Press! Press!

Their receivers are all very talented though. One blown coverage and BAM.

The loss of Inky and Harrelll could end up costing us 7-10 points per game.

Compared to 5'9'', it is.

That just cracked me up, you admitted you weren't familiar with it, and you proved it. :p

A 5'9" guy can cover a 6'3" guy. Unless the 5'9" guy is devoid of athletic talent... I doubt that's the case for our corners.

We will be fine.

I think our corners will come out and show their depth.
We really dont have depth at corner Milo. Ricardo Kemp and Antonio Gaines. Who else can play corner???

Marsalous Johnson could but what do you know another arrest.

We are very very thin at defensive back. Soon Meach will have to play both sides of the ball.:)

I'm not worried about them being covered, I have confidence in the Vols secondary.

However, let's assume the 6'3'' has the same athletic abililty as the 5'9'' guy... I wonder who'll win that jump ball if that situation arises?

One more thing to consider when complaining about or lack of d-backs, do you suppose Meyer will try and run the ball more after seeing the numbers Air Force put up?

On a side note, how well do our linebackers play coverage?

In a straight up jump ball situation? The 6'3" guy, of course.

But, in a game situation, that would imply that Leak is chucking up deep balls for grabs. If that's happening, I'd say our defense is doing fine. They're fast enough, they will swarm a pass like that.
