Denver's never really been sold on just playing one rb since terrell davis retired have they?

Multiple RBs is quite in fashion in the NFL right now.

2 yes, but 3-4? But honestly, have they kept a rb as the main starter throughout the year since davis left the league? the least few seasons they seem to keep switching as different runners peak during the season while the others fall off

it's like his second year in the league. I've never seen a qb change things around that quickly

He was a bonehead on the football field in college. You could count on him to make two or three dumb plays a game. Every game. He couldn't read defenses or do any of the other so-called mental aspects of a QB's job. That was good enough in college, where he was of course a man among boys physically, but you can't be successful playing QB in the NFL just based on your physical gifts.

He's a project. Huge upside potential, but even higher flameout probability. An insanely risky choice with the overall #1 pick. (Which, of course, is why Al Davis made it.) If you've got to have a QB now, you trade down a few spots and take somebody who has demonstrated at least some capacity for the mental parts of the game (which is most of what where a pro QB sinks or swims).

E. Royals was a Free Agent in my Fantasy League...I just now picked him up off the waivers. :)

it think it has to do a lot with their scheme. they require a lot of cuts from their RBs. it can be hard on the knees.

and it's not that guys fall off, it's that they can't stay healthy. seems like Denver RBs are always hurt.

i got burned by them last year. never again will i take a Broncos back.

I just put in a bid to drop Robert Meachem (my late round homer pick) for Royals in one of my leagues.

i just went ahead and got royal; i had been holding onto d. williams and mccallister to see who to use as my bye week rb, but i went ahead and let mccallister off. hopefully, either coles, royal or stallworth will step up for me now during my wrs bye week

If they can just shut D. Mac down, I just won that game in that league. Our match up pretty much came down to D. Mac vs. Darrell Jackson coming into this game.

barring some 60-yard td scamper at this point, it looks like they pretty much already have shut him down
