Denny Hamlin return

I've read some articles that Denny could be back this weekend at Richmond. Any truth to that?:question:

Brian Vickers is listed as driver of the #11 in the Richmond entry list. That may change before race time, but I doubt it.

He was supposed to have some tests yesterday. His return depends on the results of those tests. I just don't see the benefit of coming back early. He's gotta think long term. Joe Gibbs is a smart man. Hopefully he makes the right decision and keeps Hamlin out of the car 1 more week. He can take him out after the 1st caution at Talladega. Basically giving him another 2 weeks.

I read that he will for sure start 'Dega which doesn't really make sense to me. Why start him at a track like 'Dega with that high speed and unpredictableness.

I thought they had to finish the race to recieve the points?

Nope. Whoever starts the race gets credit.
