Six decades of following UT. Much of that time trying to figure out why the administration continues to make blunder after blunder. Great location. facilities, fans, only need a proven leader. As they say, when you do not learn from your mistakes you are doomed to repeat them and we are the poster boy for this maxim. It seems like an eternity that we have been on this spinning wheel and we can't seem to jump off. I am so tired of trying to rationalize and make excuses for what has transpired in an effort to try to convince myself that things will change and that we should just remain optimistic. Problem is that one step forward two steps back only increases the distance from the goal you are trying to achieve. You would think that when a job like UT comes open that viable candidates would be standing in line for the opportunity. Problem is that due to the ineptitude of those in power the environment has become so toxic that time and time again we are forced to lower our standards and take whatever is available. The prevailing thought has now become- In light of all that has transpired, what else would you have expected to happen.
