I was driving back to work about 30 mins ago and I was listening to the Tony Basilio show and a caller said that Denarius Moore has a broken bone in his foot and out 8 to 12 weeks. Is there any truth to this?

I don't want anyone to be hurt but in my personal hierarchy of receivers, I really don't want Denarius to be hurt.

Well a caller named John was on when I got out to pump gas, then I get back in and a caller was stating that he broke. I just had not seen anything on this becuase I think its big news.

Someone called in on the Sports Animal today and said that he saw Denarius with a boot on his foot.

Well this would be way worse than the AR out for season injury. We need time for Crompton to form rythm with the WOuts.

Luckily even if this is true he would be able to get back around the time of the Florida game. Maybe.

For what its worth, I just got out of a boot with broken bone in my foot. not very painful at all, I could still play ball on it but only felt about 85%....6 weeks and it felt brand new. im not doctor but he should be fine before the season seeing how we still have 6 weeks still season opener

Hopefully he will be better by UCLA. We will need him by then. I just worry about his physical shape. He will not be able to run till then

Kiffin confirms D. Moore will have a pin put in his foot tomorrow and it could keep him out "well into the season."

Wow....I can't believe that we are down to Jones, Hancock, and Warren as guys who have seen some playing time...and Warren not even at WR. We have Maples and Campbell...if they are both still with the team, but we can't depend on either of them if they are still around. We can add in Nuke and Teague (if Teague plays WR). That's crazy...we'll start the season with maybe only 2 guys that have played WR for us before...and only 5 guys that might be able to contribute.

What? AR out for the season has to be a bigger deal.... this would suck too, of course....

Not downplaying the injury to Austin, but losing Denarious for more than one game would be much worse than losing AR for all of them.

I expected DM to really break out and be the all around weapon we needed so badly....this is bad...very bad:cray:

I still think its a solid group. If Nuke develops nicely and Teague goes to WR, I think we would have an excellent group. Not to mention if Berry lines up some at WR.

Maybe that Berry tweet on his twitter page is looking more and more like it's for real... him playing some WR this year...
