....is fielding punts for Oakland Raiders.

Anyone else find that ironic?

Where was that last year?

I think there is a fear of putting your best athlete back there and then getting him hurt, i.e. Eric Berry. But yeah looks like he woudl have been a good one.

Probably didn't want our number one wideout getting hurt fielding a punt.

You probably should give Wes Rucker some credit, don't you think?

wesrucker247 Wes Rucker
Denarius Moore is fielding punts for the Oakland Raiders. Considering he played for the 2010 Vols, that's very funny.

Tennessee has gotta start taking special teams more seriously. It's killing us in games against the likes of UF, who absolutely dominated all facets of the Special Teams portion of the game. I guarantee you it will kill us against LSU too. The logic behind saving your best players from injury and not putting them on special teams just doesn't work for me. Look at UF with Chris Rainey. UF puts their BEST players or most athletic players on special teams despite how valuable they are and it pays massive dividends.

I wonder if this has anything to do with depth???

You follow Wes Rucker? Why? Is he the only one that watches The Raiders?

Considering the Raiders aren't broadcast anywhere but the Raiders/Jets markets right now, that may have something to do with it. The only way he knows Moore is returning punts is if he's got an NFL package

Honest question. When was the last time a star player at UT got injured returning kicks or punts. Last time I checked Rogers and Lane were our return men.

I thought Dooley was going to put his best people on the kicking game. Willie Gault, Dale Carter and Carl Pickens did alright and never got hurt.

Just makes me feel more awesome that I had a couple beers with him (and G. Jones) after the Lakers won the NBA championship in 2010 lol. (they lived across the street from me)
