Is he still Going to UT for classes?
or is he going to transfer schools and try to play football at another college?

And is there any way that he could play for the Vols in 08-09 if he brings his grades up?

I think he is attending a JUCO to raise his grades and try to come back to UT since that is where "his boys" are at.

I would LOVE to see him change his ways in the classroom and get back to UT..
That would be a good story for the people to root for him again..
Because i cant stand wasting all that talent.

D-MO was my favorite VOL last year, and I hope for him the best. As much as I loved watching him play, my entertainment isnt why he was at UT.

Get your grades up D-MO and get back to Knoxville!!!

if he does want to come back, he may have to earn his scholarship back. he will be the only walk-on ,that I know of, with all sec or all american honors....:p

If Morley earns All-SEC, the rest of the SEC must have stopped fielding defensive backs.

Honestly I'd be surprised if he returned. Sorry, but I can't see a guy that just quit going to classes getting straightend out.

Although I wish him the best. I'd like to see him in a Tennessee jersey his senior year.

He'd compete with him the way I compete with Bill Gates in the financial world.

Why are you so down on this kid? He played pretty well last year, I thought. He missed some stuff, but he made some good plays. Especially for a young guy thrown right in. I saw him do some good things, it wasn't all bad, so there's no reason for that kinda talk.

He's the most overrated UT player in quite awhile. I'm hoping this new recruiting class is the one that makes me remember when UT fielded several good DBs every year.

Robert Meachem and Gerald Riggs Jr looked pretty bad their sophmore years too. Then they carried us their junior year. And how about Ainge?

If he had stayed it would have been too soon to close the book on Morley as overrated. We've seen it time and time again where a player takes off as a junior or senior.

No one was saying Riggs was the best player we had his sophomore year. Look back at some of the posts about Morley. He should be returning punts, he'd be the next Deion Sanders. He's the next Deon Grant. Antwan Stewart sucks, put Morley in. It got way out of hand.

Well that part I dont doubt, but its par for the course when it comes to college football fans, myself included. We seen Coker compared to Reggie Bush, Ainge is the next Manning, Foster for Heisman the year before, etc.

I don't recall anyone hailing him as the next Prime Time in orange. You also act like Demetrice lacked football talent altogether. His crippling defect was his inability to remember his defensive assignments. I can think of numerous occasions where Demetrice would seemingly forget what coverage he was in for that particular play. It really impeded his progress as a player.

If he ever gets mentally focused in and outside of football, he could still end up being a fine player for somebody. But with that said, I'm not sure he has the dedication or the work ethic to make a turnaround.

Morely was hyped a great deal coming out of high school, but Im not sure he's done anything to merit some of praise he's received. If anything his lack of fundamental execution and reliance soley on athletic ability hurt our defense.

He didn't lack athletic ability, he just lacked football instincts. I've seen posts on this very site saying that if Morley were still around we'd win the SEC this year. I'll take my chances with the incoming JUCO guys.

Remember when he called himself the hottest thing to come out of Tennessee since Elvis?

No, but I remember him telling reporters that more Florida/Miami guys would come to UT and that was complete bull$***

Another guy who blossomed as a Junior was Jay Graham. Morley will probably never be as good as advertised, but I will give him props when it comes to tackling.
