Deja Vu?

Its game day finally. I have been reading all the predictions from the magazines again, trying to summarize and make an honest expectation for this season for myself.

The more I thought and reviewed, the more I came up with, THIS BEGINNING OF THIS SEASON SEEMS EERILY
LIKE THE START OF THE 1998 SEASON! Lots of unknowns, lots of new faces, lots of new starters.

I'm hoping for Deja Vu.

'98 didn't feel like '98 at first, either. We thought it was going to be a rebuilding year. First year after Peyton. Etc.

The 98 team had multiple 10 wins seasons prior to and was stacked with proven nfl talent. We are simply not close to that right now. I know D4H says every pkayer on our team will be in the nfl hof, but we simply dont know that for sure right now.
