from the advocate, baton rouge:

"But it was not a good night for LSU on the other side of the ball in the Tigers' first game under defensive coordinator John Chavis. Washington outgained LSU 478-321, and the TD on the final play of the game symbolized the rocky night on defense for the Tigers."

it was the opponent's thirteenth straight loss. wyoming, anybody?

Clever use of the word "rocky"... classic.

If Tuberville could fire Tony Franklin in the first month or so, plus you are seeing all of these NFL coordinators getting fired before the season starts, it really would not surprise me if Chavis has a very, very, very short leash in Baton Rouge. He is really moving in the direction of a midseason firing...
