At Duke Medical School, Race-Based Promotion Guidelines Reward Doctors for Recruiting 'BIPOC Faculty'

Attorneys say the guidelines could make Duke a target for the Trump administration

Duke Medical School has adopted race-based promotion guidelines that reward doctors for recruiting and mentoring "BIPOC faculty" and "targeting specific groups of people," language attorneys say appears to violate civil rights law and could put the school in the crosshairs of the Trump administration.

The "Appointment, Promotion and Tenure Framework for Scholarship in Justice, Equity, Diversity, Antiracism and Inclusion" guidelines—which were posted on a Duke University website as of July 3—list a slew of race-conscious efforts as "promotable activities." Faculty can help their tenure case by "strengthening ties with Hispanic-serving institutions and historically Black colleges"; advising "BIPOC" trainees; leading K-12 programs that "foster a diverse pipeline of potential learners from BIPOC and other marginalized groups"; and devising strategies to "measurably increase the number of BIPOC learners."

Schoolgirl Is Banned From Diversity Day For Wearing A Union Jack Dress

A schoolgirl was put into isolation for wearing a Union Jack dress to celebrate being British at her school's culture day.

But the Year 7 pupil was told the dress was 'unacceptable' before being hauled out of lessons and made to sit in reception until her father collected her.

Stuart Field, 47, said he was 'gobsmacked' to learn she had been segregated from her peers due to her choice of attire at Bilton School in Rugby, Warwickshire.

He added that while other pupils with St George's and Welsh flags were also turned away, students were allowed in burkas, niqabs and traditional Nigerian clothing.

I’m betting a Palestinian Flag dress would have been exactly the type of Diversity the organizers were looking for, and the wearer celebrated.

But there’s a wide spectrum between Palestinian and Union Jack.

I imagine German or Swedish would not have been “diverse” enough. But what about Greek, or say, Italian? Would those be considered sufficiently diverse?

Leaked videos released on Tuesday purportedly show Belmont University officials reveal their plan to avoid scrutiny from the Trump administration by renaming Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and by concealing the existence of students who immigrated to the United States illegally.

The videos, first published by Town Hall, appear to show Josef Lukey, the Belmont University Assistant Director of Student Access and Flourishing, describe how the university has worked to avoid federal scrutiny while continuing their advocacy for controversial programs targeted by President Donald Trump through executive orders.

I would bet texas is top 5 in the nation in % of minorities in their population...as well as GDP of those minorities incomes. This is just the legal work...not counting the billions of dollars in drug smuggling and distribution across their borders/ state lines. I bet texas is a great place to be a minority. Count me as shocked that this trashy talking, racist B is dead wrong again.

NASHVILLE, Tenn.—A Vanderbilt University administrator was caught on camera admitting that the school is actively pursuing diversity, equity, and inclusion goals in violation of President Donald Trump’s executive action cracking down on colleges pushing the leftist DEI agenda.

G.L. Black, the Vice Provost for Student Affairs and Dean of Students, said last month that the school remains “thoughtful around DEI work” and its “focus on belonging and building communities and sustaining communities and access and resources,” according to a video obtained by The Daily Wire.

“All the things that I would say are components of DEI work are part of what we do,” Black added. “Even if we don’t label everything as DEI work.”
