DEI and RCR to merge engine programs

Just read that DEI and RCR are going to merge their engine programs, effective immediately.

I think the major issue out of this is it would now be unlikely that Dale Jr. would move to RCR next year, since it appears RCR is forming an alliance with DEI now.

This basically means TEI will be leasing engines from RCR.

Jr. said himself that he would still be involved with projects with TEI. I don't see how this would push him away from signing with RCR.

I wanted this to happen when Jr drove for DEI because these were my two favorite teams, but now TEI is a worthless orginization and I think would be a big mistake by Childress.
